So, who exactly is Casper?
She only meant to close her eyes for a minute.
Casper spotted an open window in a car she didn't recognise, and — well, cats are curious, and Casper is a very, very curious cat. She hopped in, curled up on a warm blanket, and fell fast asleep.
When she woke, it was dark, she was starving, and the car was gone. No houses. No fences. Just long grass whispering in the dark, and strange calls she had never heard before. This was the great, wild bush of Africa.
Casper is brave, sassy and very smart. Back home, every cat in the neighbourhood (and a few dogs, in secret) came to her when they had a problem. Now she's the one with the problem:

Lost and alone on her first night, Casper finds her first friends: a family of pangolins, and Junior, who needs her help.

The Elephants
Casper meets Bugle, a baby elephant who thinks everything is funny, and travels east with his herd.

Casper rides on the back of Jerry, a very, very tall giraffe — and the bush looks very different from up there.

The Baboons
A noisy troop, two wild twins, and a missing baby baboon who turns up cradling a leopard cub.
