Book 5: The Lions (Ebook)

Casper meets a lion. The lion growls. Casper faints. This could be a difficult friendship.

Book 5: The Lions

Heading east through the bush, Casper ducks beneath a low branch and comes nose to nose with a magnificent mane. Meeting Hasani and Harry is enough to unsettle any city cat—but these two lions have heard some rather extraordinary stories about her, too.

As rumours grow wilder, Casper discovers how easily a story can outrun the truth. Then news arrives of hunters camped beside the river, and the danger becomes very real.

Helping the lion families will mean trusting creatures Casper would usually avoid: a spider, scorpions and a cloud of tiny golden wings. Can the smallest animals make the biggest difference?

A spirited mix of comedy and suspense about questioning rumours, overcoming prejudice and working together to protect wildlife.
